The last in a series of parables about the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus tells his followers that his kingdom is like a net. He explains that the net catches all kinds of fish and once those fish are brought onto land they are sorted into two piles by the fishermen. Those the fishermen will keep and those that will be discarded. He equates this fishing allegorically with the day of judgement.
